Meet the Teacher

Mrs. Daniela Sanchez-Elliott studied classical ballet for 12 years in Mexico, Cuba and Spain. Through her training, and later in her career as a professional ballerina she performed in classical works such as The Nutcracker, Giselle, Swan Lake, Don Quixote and Coppelia, among others.

The focus of these classes are to:

1. Develop solid classical ballet fundamentals, such as strength, flexibility and positioning.

2. Worship God through the art of dance and movement.

3. Awaken imagination and creativity while having fun.

4. Foster a community of love, support, and encouragement.

Mrs. Elliott would love the opportunity to teach your children to love dance as much as she does!

My daughter is going on her third year with Steps of Faith and she has loved every moment she's spent there. It's been such a blessing to find a dance studio and dance teacher who serves the Lord with her gifts and pours her heart and soul into her students. The music they use and the skills they have been teaching my daughter is something she carries with her throughout the week. She looks forward to ballet class every week and seeing the friends she's made and her favourite teachers. Can't wait to start my younger daughter in classes soon and have both of them praising the Lord through song and dance. Thanks for all you do Daniela and Steps of Faith.
